Men’s vintage denim runs small. Rule of thumb is to add 2-3 to your modern women’s size to approximate the waist, as a starting point.

- Faded medium stonewash (4891 wash code) with especially great character jeans - fading, faint whiskering, beautiful wear around the hems, waist band and pockets. These are timeless for a reason!

ABOUT THE STYLE
Levi's 505: Zip fly, mid to high rise, slightly slimmer through the hips and thighs, and straight leg. The front and back panels are cut the same width so they run a bit more narrow. This can give a more tailored look and is also my favorite for sizing up to achieve a relaxed boyfriend fit without too much sagging on the rear.

The majority of vintage Levi’s were made for men and are now smaller than the tagged size, making it a bit tricky to navigate sizing. Best practice is to compare exact measurements to a pair of jeans you have at home and feel great in (100% cotton with no stretch, a similar rise and freshly washed for best accuracy).

As with any one-of-a-kind vintage item, signs of wear are to be expected. This may include fading, fraying, rips, holes, distressing, staining and/or marks.
